If you have missed the amazing workday this past Saturday 3/31 and Sunday 4/1, there are two more: April 14 and 15. It would be a good time to come out and get away from your taxes!
The Missouri Botanical Garden is having an herb sale on April 27 and 28, 9- noon for members and noon-5 pm for the general public
If you cannot make it this Saturday when it's sunny and 75F...come Sunday April 1st 9-noon and fool us with your gardening skills!
Remember you need 3 hrs of community work!
Other workdays are April 14 and 15, 9-12
Hello New Gardeners!
The extension to the current community garden will be located in the orchard. A grant from Gateway Greening will allow us to build 10 more beds. Dimensions are 5 x 12 for a full bed and 5 x 6 for half beds.
If you are assigned to the orchard lot, you must build your own bed. Start date is 4/28/12 unless there are 10 volunteers to work on a weekday. So far, we have only got 4 volunteers for the first week in April. Sign up if you want to garden sooner.
To clarify things: the required 3 hrs of community work is IN ADDITION to the bed building.
OUr first workday is this Saturday 3/31/12 from 9-2 pm. Come join us and the SHower of Help organization. We will have lots of fun with lots of people!
